MRK Advocacy is run by the skills and experience of Mindy Ross-Knaster, a special education advocate. She is a retired special education teacher in both elementary and middle schools in New York City. Mindy was also an Educational Evaluator, which is the person who tests to measure the child’s educational performance levels to determine their potential needs.
      Mindy has a Master’s Degree in both Special Education and Child and Adolescent Psychology, in addition to certification from the Wrightslaw Advocacy Program.
     With more than 30 years experience in Special Education, Mindy has been working with families to help navigate special education services for the benefit of their children throughout New York City, Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
